Primeurs 2014
- By admin
When primeurs tastings, Clos du Roy was first tasted by Jean Marc Quarin, James Suckling, Neil Martin (Wine Advocate (Robert Parker)).
You will also find the traditional commentary Jacques Dupont published in Le Point in May 2015.
Le Clos du Roy 2014 has been appreciated and commented:
– Jean Marc Quarin 15.5 // 88 – « very good wines from the 2014 vintage »
Dark, intense and beautiful. Creamy and fruity nose. Juicy mouth, tasty, the bright fruit and wrapped tannicity. Normal length.
– James Suckling: 85-86
Medium body, soft tannins and a fruity finish but a little hollow on the mid-palate.
– Neil Martin : 86-88
Black fruit, cherry, meaty, soot, a lot of background, smokiness, firm tannins, tight, very tasty.
